Ordered a sofa, would not be available to ship for 2 weeks even though showed “in warehouse” . I had my old sectional removed day of delivery...by end of day I was getting concerned so I called to be told the item was no longer available!!

I asked for a supervisor and was told it would take a couple of days for them to contact me. When the supervisor called he said it would be shipped in next couple of days and was available, there was a “glitch” in the system. After waiting 2 more days with nothing to sit on I called again and was told they had no control over shipping as Brassex would ship it directly. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told they couldn’t escalate it by phone????

And then HUNG UP ON ME. within a couple hours of my call I checked my account and this is where things get interesting...the sectional showed shipped the previous day by Canada Post!!! A sectional!!! The tracking number didn’t exist of course.

3 days later I received a call from a transport company who claimed to have my sofa for delivery. I said I thought the manufacturer (Brassex) was shipping it and the transport company said they knew nothing of that, they had picked it up from Rogers Media aka The Shopping Channel that day!! The offered to deliver it in 3 days. The day of delivery I got a call from the driver who needed me to book the elevator and come get the sectional off of his truck, I told him no one said they didn’t deliver it to the door and that I needed to have guys get it off the truck and up to my condo.

The driver was accommodating and brought it the next day so I could arrange help, but he was disciplined for not dropping it outside (winter) as it didn’t require a signature. If you look at other reviews this hasn’t worked and when the item was stolen they had long fights to get their money back.

I recommend you STAY AWAY! DONT BUY FROM THE SHOPPING CHANNEL.....terrible customer service and worse, they lie!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.
